Meet Walter Davis DDS - Muskogee, OK Dentist

Walter E. Davis, DDS

Dr. Davis earned his DDS degree in 1970 from St. Louis University School of Dentistry, St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma, in 1967 with a bachelor degree in Zoology.

Dr. Davis served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves as Captain of Dental Corps (1968-1972). He has been practicing Dentistry in Muskogee since 1972.

Although he provides all facets of general and restorative services, he has a special interest in the specialties of root canal treatment and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Davis has served on dental missions to Haiti, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, Israel (Gaza, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, West Bank), Indonesia – Bali, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Canada, Panama and Mexico.

Dr. Davis attends St. Joseph Catholic Church in Muskogee, and he has three sons, Andrew, Jamie and Ethan.

Dr. Davis is licensed by the State of Oklahoma; Fellow, American College of Forensic Examiners; life member, Oklahoma Dental Association (1972 – present); life member, American Dental Association (1972-present); and member, Eastern District Dental Society (1972-present). He is also a Fellow of the American Board of Forensic Dentistry, and serves on Muskogee Regional Medical Center’s Active Medical Staff.

Dr. Davis is a life member of Lions Club International, and Muskogee Noon Lions Club (a founding club of Lions Club International). He is also a Melvin Jones Fellow of Lions International.

He is Past President of the Muskogee Noon Lions Club, Eastern District Dental Society, Goodwill Industries of Muskogee, Lake Country United Way of Muskogee, and the Muskogee Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

He is a 35 year member of the National Federation of Independent Businesspersons, a life member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), and has been a Bronze Sponsor for Ducks Unlimited for 35 years. His practice is a member of the Greater Muskogee Area Chamber of Commerce.
